I’m the kind of person who is curious about the world and always willing to take a look at something new. I also get bored easily. Perhaps as a result I’ve explored a variety of different interests, from drag racing to the performing arts, from trying to be a hippy to trying to be a business man. My opinions are my own but I try to keep them thoughtful and informed.

I’ve had a number of specialized web sites but I decided to create an umbrella site, one where I can examine and discuss my experiences and all that is of interest to me. As my interests are varied and diverse, so too do I wish to keep the topics I examine on this site diverse. The arts, politics, science, religion, technology, action sports - all are fair game.

I’m especially interested in the future of our species and the grand question of whether we are smart enough and have the political will to survive as a civilized species. These are big issues that I too rarely hear discussed.
